Overview

A compact powered speaker for presentations, background music and small event sound. The 8-inch woofer and 1-inch compression driver are driven by a built-in 300 W RMS Class D amplifier. Two independently controlled mic/line inputs make a simple setup possible, while an XLR mono mix output can feed another powered speaker. Choose full-range operation, use it above a suitable subwoofer, or select the monitor preset for close-range monitoring. This listing is for one speaker, not a complete PA package.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate amplifier?
No: amplification is built in. Connect a line-level mixer or playback source with the input set to LINE, or a suitable microphone with MIC selected. Turn the channel gain down before connecting, then raise it gradually.
Which preset should I choose?
Use FULL-RANGE without a subwoofer. SATELLITE adds a 90 Hz high-pass for use with a suitably aligned subwoofer. MONITOR adjusts the response for monitoring. FLAT is a linear DSP setting for external equalisation, not a dedicated speech preset.
Can I connect another speaker?
The XLR LINE OUT MONO MIX carries the combined signal from both input channels. It can feed a suitable line input on another powered speaker or an amplifier. It is not a powered output for a passive loudspeaker.
What should I arrange for setup and transport?
Arrange a suitable stable stand or pole where needed, a matching mains lead, audio cables and transport protection. No accessory package is specified here. Keep ventilation clear and protect the speaker from rain and splashes. Suspended installation requires suitable rated mounting hardware and competent rigging.
Is a subwoofer useful for music?
For bass-heavy DJ material, add a suitable subwoofer rather than expecting a compact 8-inch cabinet to provide deep bass on its own. Required system size depends on the room, audience layout and listening level; no fixed audience capacity is guaranteed.
