Frequently asked questions

Does it need a separate amplifier or top speaker?

The subwoofer has its own amplifier, but reproduces bass rather than the full audio range. Use suitable powered top speakers, or top speakers with their own amplification. Arrange the audio source, speakers and required cabling separately.

Which low-pass preset should I use?

Choose 80, 100 or 120 Hz to match the top speakers and system alignment. These are upper low-pass limits, not the point where bass starts. The manual recommends 100 Hz with STINGER G3 full-range speakers. THRU outputs are not high-pass filtered.

Can one unit produce a cardioid bass pattern?

No. The manual specifies three STINGER G3 subwoofers of the same model: two facing forward at 100 Hz and the middle unit facing backward in CARDIOID mode. All three need the same signal and identical MAIN LEVEL settings. Follow the manual layout; this single-unit rental does not include that array.

Are wheels, a cover, cables or a pole included?

No accessory package is specified here. Confirm any required transport protection, dolly, matching mains lead, audio cables and M20 pole when arranging the rental. Check vehicle space against the cabinet dimensions and use suitable handling assistance.

Decimator Design 12G-CROSS 4K video converter

Connect HDMI and SDI equipment for presentations, livestreams and camera setups. The Decimator Design 12G-CROSS converts between HDMI and SDI and scales resolution and frame rate, supporting UHD and DCI 4K up to 60p. Select the source and output format using the built-in LCD and buttons. HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion can run simultaneously with suitable routing. One scaler is shared between the outputs; the four SDI sockets operate in two pairs, not as four independent converters.

ELLER PH2 500 kg manual chain hoist — 10 m

Hand-operated ELLER PH2 chain hoist for vertical lifting and lowering of loads up to 500 kg. The 10 m lifting height and 9.5 m hand-chain drop are separate dimensions. Manual operation requires no electrical supply. Use only with a suitable, assessed suspension point and follow the PH2 operating instructions. Not for lifting people or moving loads over people. Include the lifting height and load details in your enquiry so the setup can be checked.
