Overview
The Midas M32R is a compact digital mixing console for live music, conferences and recording sessions. Its 16 local Midas PRO microphone preamps, eight XLR outputs and motorised faders give an experienced engineer direct control of a small stage or a larger system using a compatible AES50 stagebox. Scene recall, channel processing and eight stereo effects engines help keep repeatable shows organised.

Do I need a stagebox?
The console has 16 local microphone inputs. A compatible AES50 stagebox can place connections near the stage and provide additional physical I/O. Confirm the required stagebox and cabling when booking.
Can I make a multitrack recording?
With a DN32-USB card installed, the M32R can send up to 32 channels to a computer for multitrack recording. The top-panel USB recorder records stereo. Confirm the installed card and required computer and software when booking.
Who should operate this mixer?
An engineer familiar with digital routing, gain structure and scene management. Plan the input list, monitor mixes and recording setup before the event.
What should I arrange when booking?
Confirm the required stagebox, cables, transport protection and recording computer or software when booking. Do not assume these are included with the console.

TP-Link TL-SG108S 8-port Gigabit switch
Connect a small wired network for an event, control desk or temporary workspace with eight auto-negotiating Ethernet ports. The TL-SG108S is an unmanaged Gigabit switch in a compact, fanless metal housing: connect suitable Ethernet cables and external power, with no switch configuration required. One connection to a router or another switch uses one of the eight ports, leaving seven for local devices. This is a non-PoE switch, not a router or Wi-Fi access point; it does not increase your internet subscription speed. Check the network requirements of the actual equipment before use.

USB-C to dual XLR cable
USB-C audio playback cable with two 3-pin XLR male connectors for connecting a compatible source to audio equipment with XLR inputs. Not a microphone recording interface.
USB-C to HDMI adapter kit
USB-C to HDMI adapter kit for connecting a compatible USB-C video source to an HDMI display or projector, up to 4K at 30 Hz. The source port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode video output; a charging-only USB-C port will not work.

Zowietek ZowieBox 4K HDMI NDI encoder/decoder
Compact HDMI-to-IP converter for live production and streaming. One ZowieBox switches between encoder and decoder modes: send HDMI video over the network, or decode a supported network stream to HDMI. Supports NDI|HX2/HX3, H.264/H.265, SRT, RTMP(S) and RTSP. Encoding and decoding reach up to 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps; HDMI passthrough reaches up to 4K at 60 fps and is not 4K60 encoding. Full NDI is not supported. Browser-based control and Gigabit Ethernet suit camera feeds, presentations and display distribution.
